Autumn season 2025
RECONFIGURE THE ROUTE IN THE NEW REALITY (ECONOMICAL, TECHNOLOGICAL, SOCIO-POLITIC)
The tech industry in Romania—and globally—is at an inflection point.
New waves of AI (LLMs, open-source models, agentic AI) are rewriting how we program, deliver, and measure productivity. At the same time, we’re facing:
-
The rise of quantum computing, biotech, and other disruptive fields,
-
Economic and demographic challenges,
-
The shift from pure services toward products, sales, and real business impact.
This is why COMM-IT Romania’s Autumn 2025 season is dedicated to Reconfiguring the Route. We need new strategies, sharper skills, and communities that learn together.
The journey starts in Iași, with a panel on AI, quantum computing, and product leadership. Experienced managers will debate how fast-moving technologies reshape our industry—and what this means for leaders in Romania.
Beyond Delivery: The Manager’s Role in Customer and Account Management
Being a good engineering manager is no longer just about leading teams and delivering projects.
Today, account and customer management is part of the job:
-
Building trust in every interaction,
-
Spotting opportunities for upsales or cross-sales,
-
Ensuring retention and long-term partnerships,
-
Translating technical value into business results.
At COMM-IT Iași, our second event this season will bring engineering managers together to discuss how to grow revenue and impact—not only through code, but also through relationships.
This is part of reconfiguring our route: shifting from execution to influence, from technical excellence to business contribution.
Selling Tech: The Debate on Value and Pricing
If technology is shifting, so is the way we sell technology.
In the third Iași event this autumn, COMM-IT Romania will host a moderated debate on sales and pricing in tech. Experts in business development and sales will explore:
-
How to define value in a crowded market,
-
How pricing strategies change in times of economic pressure,
-
How tech managers can collaborate with sales teams to bring real growth.
Because reconfiguring the route is not just about new technology—it’s also about how we sell, price, and position our solutions.
A New Route Opens: Timisoara Chapter Launch
This season is not only about debates. It’s about expanding the community.
We’re proud to launch a new COMM-IT Chapter in Timișoara this autumn:
-
In October, we’ll open with a moderated discussion featuring managers who shape the local and global tech industry.
-
In November, we’ll welcome a special guest with major international experience to share insights directly with the community.
Reconfiguring the route means opening new roads. And Timișoara is the next milestone.
Reconfiguring the Route: Join the Journey
Across this season, COMM-IT Romania will explore:
-
How AI, quantum, and product leadership are reshaping our work,
-
How managers must step into customer and account management,
-
How sales and pricing strategies evolve in tech,
-
How new communities (like our Timișoara Chapter) strengthen our ecosystem.
The message is clear: the Romanian tech industry must rethink, adapt, and reconfigure its route.
🚀 Join us this autumn—whether in Iași or Timișoara—if you want to be part of shaping the next chapter for tech leadership in Romania.
